After some time away, I have managed to post pictures of the efforts to reclaim (1) Victorian
architecture child’s playhouse.

Just wanted to put down a special entry in memory of Susie.

Why you decided to use that thing, I’ll never know. You were smart, beautiful…I just wish I had been able to get to you sooner. I’m sorry, Susie.

But I don’t want this time of pain to be without creation. Every artist, at some point in his or her life, creates beauty from pain. I know you loved my writing, so I am going to honor your memory the only way I know how…with words on paper.

Thanks for the inspiration, Susie. You’ll be missed.

I knew Jack in World War II, when I was a correspondence journalist.

I saw you the other day over on Market Street. You didn’t look well. Did you hear me calling you? I’m guessing (and hoping) not since you ran the other direction.
I noticed you had that mirror that I liked with you.
Listen, if you don’t want to go out again, that’s cool. Just, let me at least make an offer on that mirror. My partners and I would really like to add it to our antiques collection here at the shop.
