I’ve finally finished Susie’s memorial story, and it’s available in the Fanfic section, titled dans la mémoire du susie.

I’ll always remember you, Susie – may your soul find rest someday, secundum pergatory.

Just wanted to put down a special entry in memory of Susie.

Why you decided to use that thing, I’ll never know. You were smart, beautiful…I just wish I had been able to get to you sooner. I’m sorry, Susie.

But I don’t want this time of pain to be without creation. Every artist, at some point in his or her life, creates beauty from pain. I know you loved my writing, so I am going to honor your memory the only way I know how…with words on paper.

Thanks for the inspiration, Susie. You’ll be missed.
